EYFS Classroom Support

A friendly primary school in the BS34 area of Bristol is looking for a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Classroom Support Assistant to join their Early Years team. This is a brilliant opportunity to support children at the very start of their school journey, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. What your day might look like Every day in Early Years is different, but your role will be all about creating a warm and supportive environment where children can thrive. You’ll be: • Supporting the class teacher within the EYFS classroom • Helping children with early learning activities through play and exploration • Encouraging communication, social skills, and independence • Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and creative activities • Helping maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning space What we’re looking for You don’t need to know everything about Early Years already, just bring the right energy and care. Ideally, you’ll have: • Experience working with young children or within an EYFS setting • A warm, patient and positive approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development • An Early Years or childcare qualification (desirable but not essential) What you’ll get in return This school prides itself on creating a supportive environment where staff and pupils can flourish.
