Your responsibilities will include: commissioning application hardware, adjusting and parameterizing sensors, actuators, and control loops, troubleshooting and programming PLCs, conducting process tests for plant safety, optimizing the processes of 240 robots with regard to quality, availability, and cycle time, as well as adapting the application software, post-processing PLC programs, training teams from the production and maintenance departments in PLC programming, managing and controlling complex automation projects, and diagnosing and resolving PLC malfunctions.
- Completed vocational training in a metal, IT or electrical trade with relevant further training, or alternatively a completed degree in mechatronics, electrical or automation engineering.
- Extensive professional experience in PLC programming, preferably in the field of body-in-white production
- Knowledge of Siemens Step7 controllers as well as in the creation and support of projects up to final acceptance.
- Familiar with the joining techniques used in body-in-white construction
- Safe use of MS Office
- Good German skills, both spoken and written.
- Teamwork skills and an independent working style
