About the Role
Position The Taiwan Client Reporting team performs key operational functions, responsible to produce routine and ad-hoc reports for external and internal clients. There are extensive relations with many functions of the AllianceBernstein business, notably Sales, Marketing, Investment Management teams, Operations and Information Technology. The reports contents include mainly portfolio related data such as: securities holding and classification, trading activities, benchmark comparison, performance calculation, dividend payout, charts and comparison table, commentary, and others. The role necessitates constant emphasis on good communication, attention to details and adherence to deadlines and furthermore requires the ability to ensure prompt and appropriate response to a broad range of inquiries. Job Description Operational Responsible for timely delivery of Client Reports and related queries Work closely with stakeholders to understand the report requirements Analyze client reports requirements, trends, formats or contents to give better solutions Assist with the review of client documentation about operational procedures during account onboarding Implement the client reports on Vermilion Reporting System to avoid manual error and improve the efficiency and data accuracy of the reports Assist the team lead to enhance the current processes and/or systems to ensure delivery of services to the client in an accurate and timely manner Assist with team lead for the Ops project as needed Current job responsibilities Verify data of the system generated reports before the fact sheet production Utilize existing Excel Marco to produce multiple sets of reports for Discretionary Mandate clients and for internal business users. Communicate with Global Analytical team to automate the existing reports onto Vermilion system, the implementation details include: To communicate with global Vermilion implementation team about report requirements and assist the program developments To support the UAT and parallel testing to ensure the report accuracy Be a super user to develop the reporting on Vermilion system Post Vermilion implementation Work with stakeholders to standardize the report format and fine-tune reports on Vermilion System Work with Investment Team to automate other manual reports to streamline the reporting process Work with Fund Administration team to automate the manual report to avoid manual errors Qualifications The ideal candidate should have: University graduate with understanding of financial markets and investment products Minimum of three years proven experience gained in a Financial Operations environment with a good understanding of Front to Back operational processes Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines Great attention to details, able to demonstrate maturity and confidence to work under pressure Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Mandarin Basic Knowledge in financial products, markets and technology Possesses strong program analysis logic and is proficient in Excel Macro development (VBA) and Python Professional license: SITCA License, or Senior Brokerage License or Trust License is a must Taipei City, Taiwan We are a leading global investment management firm offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail investors, and private-wealth clients in major markets around the globe.
