STOREROOM INVENTORY CLERK

Position: : Storeroom Inventory Clerk
Base Location: Parrot Cay
Department: Engineering
Reporting to: Chief Engineer
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Ensure that all products requisitioned are entered into the Birch Street System
Daily or by 10am the following day - Ongoing
Ensure that all transfers are entered into the Birch Street System - Daily
Ensure that all products received are accounted for and stocked accurately in the storeroom - Ongoing
Maintain a par level for inventory items by communicate all items to be replenished to the purchasing manager Ongoing
Set up and maintain a daily 10 item spot check - Ongoing
Rotate stock regularly and ensure consumption dates are current and report any expired or damaged products to purchasing manager - Ongoing
Ensure and participate in monthly inventories counts - monthly
Work closely with the purchasing clerk to ensure products are purchased timely Ongoing
Ensure that the storeroom is clean and organized Daily
Ensure that all orders are delivered in a timely manner - Daily
Inspect deliveries from all suppliers to maintain acceptable product levels - Ongoing
File all documents for easy reference Ongoing
Maintain a high level of professionalism and efficiency
Perform any other reasonable task as requested by the management of Parrot Cay
Ensure that the storeroom is locked and secured when not performing official duties
Key Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse, or storeroom operations (engineering or maintenance environment preferred).
Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, mechanical parts, or building materials is a plus.
Computer literacy; experience with inventory or maintenance management systems preferred.
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies).
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks independently.
Familiarity with safety and material storage standards.
May involve frequent standing, lifting, bending, and climbing.
Interaction with engineering/maintenance personnel and vendors.
