<p>GVC is working with a well‑established small‑animal practice offering a full‑time role for a veterinary surgeon. The practice provides a balanced rota with a fixed four‑day week, limited weekend commitments and a supportive on‑call structure. The clinical team works collaboratively across consulting, operating and inpatient care, ensuring continuity and high standards throughout the week.</p>
<p>The practice encourages ongoing development, including support for certificates and AVP status, and offers access to extensive online CPD resources. <h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Work a fixed four‑day week with an equal share of consulting, operating, support and on‑call duties.
<li>Participate in a structured on‑call rota until 11pm, with inpatient cover only overnight.
<li>Cover one fixed night every other week.
<li>Work six weekend shifts and one Bank Holiday per year.
<li>Manage a varied caseload across routine and more complex medical and surgical cases.
<li>Contribute to a collaborative clinical environment focused on patient care and evidence‑based practice.

<li>Salary up to £68,000 depending on experience, with supplements for certificate holders.
