Take charge of the overall result.</strong></p> <p>Are you a mechanical engineer with extensive background in ASME pressure vessel design looking to assume responsibility for intricate engineered systems? This is an chance to be involved in highly specialized equipment where engineering precision, code adherence, and practical production converge.</p> <p>This is not a standard design position. You will be tasked with designing, evaluating, and backing pressure vessels and piping systems constructed to ASME Section VIII guidelines, collaborating closely with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to bring made-to-order products to fruition.</p> <p>We are looking for two Mechanical Engineers — one at a mid-level and one at a senior level — to bolster ongoing expansion and novel product development in a greatly specialized manufacturing setting.</p> </p> <p>My client, an international maker of engineered industrial systems, is in need of Mechanical Engineers to aid in the design, assessment, and certification of pressure vessels and mechanical systems. This is a full-time, on-site position situated in the Greater Knoxville, Tennessee area.</p> <p>This is an opening to join a squad where your efforts directly affect product operation, safety, and conformity — and where seasoned engineers have the capability to guide, train, and approve designs.</p> </p> <p><strong>Reasons to Submit Your Application</strong></p> <p>Starting salary: $120,000–$150,000 commensurate with experience + yearly bonus</p> <p>Health, dental, and vision coverage</p> <p>401(k) with employer match</p> <p>Paid leave and holidays</p> <p>Opportunity to be immersed in ASME pressure vessel design and certification</p> <p>Potential growth from mid-level engineer to senior / leadership status</p> <p>Stable, well-established manufacturing setting</p> </p> <p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p> <p>Develop and assess pressure vessels and mechanical systems in alignment with ASME Section VIII and B31 piping regulations</p> <p>Formulate and evaluate engineering computations, blueprints, and standards</p> <p>Back projects starting from the conception phase through production and examination</p> <p>Ensure adherence to guidelines, norms, and statutes</p> <p>Cooperate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams</p> <p>Offer technical counsel and mentorship (senior position)</p> <p>Conduct failure inquiries and carry out rectifying measures</p> <p>Authorize and sanction engineering documentation (senior position)</p> <p>Fabricate models and blueprints using SolidWorks or AutoCAD</p> <p>Pick out components and produce BOMs</p> <p>Support evaluations and continuous enhancement pursuits</p> </p> <p><strong>Your Profile</strong></p> <p>Able to fulfill the job responsibilities outlined</p> <p>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline</p> <p>3+ years of experience in ASME pressure vessel design</p> <p>Proficient grasp of ASME Section VIII and piping regulations</p> <p>Background in materials, welding, and manufacturing</p> <p>Competency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD</p> <p>Strong aptitude for problem-solving and communication</p> </p> </div>
