Armed Forces support
We are a signatory of the Armed Forces covenant and proud to be recognised by the Defence Employer Recognition scheme as a Gold Forces Friendly employer.
We recognise and value the great transferable skills that military veterans bring to the energy sector. We're proud to have more than 70 veterans, reservists and cadet adult volunteers in our workforce and are keen to attract more people from these backgrounds who are looking to move into careers within our sector.
Ways in which we support veterans, cadets and reservists:
✅ 10 days reservist leave (5 for those with less than 6 months service)
✅ Up to 10 days camp leave for cadets
✅ Work experience opportunities for those looking for their next career move from the military
✅ Armed Forces colleague resource group
Our Armed Forces colleague resource group provides support for not only people in our company but those transitioning from an Armed Forces career to a civilian career.
Our group meets quarterly and arranges a number of activities throughout the year.
