(PK9309)</strong></p><p><strong>REWINDING OPERATOR</strong></p><p><strong>WEST YORKSHIRE</strong></p><p><strong>Competitive Salary + 28 Days Holiday (including bank holidays) + Auto Enrol Pension + Company Performance Bonus + Free Onsite Parking + Workwear</strong></p><p><strong>Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am - 4pm</strong></p><p>Our client is a high end flexographic Printer with a varied product offering to include reel to reel materials from unsupported film, to various papers laminated constructions for a number of market sectors. This includes direct and indirect food (BRC accredited), drink, automotive, medical, beauty, healthcare, pet care, horticulture and agriculture.</p><p>This busy manufacturer has seen continual year on year growth in the last 4 years and now requires additional staff to assist in the finishing department with the Slitting / Rewinding operations. To convert large printed rolls of materials into the finished customer specified format, utilising in house finishing equipment, and the movement of goods around the factory. A forklift license will be beneficial, but training will be offered by the company if you don't have one.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Loading and unloading of materials from the machine and movement of materials around the factory.</li><li>Setting and monitoring of machines while running to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.</li><li>Always maintain a tidy work area.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills Required:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of procedures for operation of slitting / rewinding is essential.</li><li>The ability to fault find and problem solve.</li><li>Display an excellent eye for detail.</li><li>Manual Handling ability.</li><li>Previous experience within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment.</li><li>Able to work under own initiative.</li><li>Problem Solving.</li><li>Record Keeping.</li><li>Good understanding of Health &amp; Safety.</li><li>Able to communicate effectively with colleagues.</li></ul>
