About the Role

HR Advisor (Temporary Contract)Location: Maldon, Essex (Hybrid –2 days per week on site)Contract: Temporary – 2 months maybe longerHours: Full timeRate: £23-25 per hourI am supporting an established organisation in Maldon, Essex  who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to provide short-term support during a particularly busy period. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, collaborative HR team and make an immediate impact.The RoleYou will act as a trusted HR partner, delivering high-quality, practical advice across a broad range of HR activity. The role will involve hands-on employee relations work alongside support for wider organisational initiatives.Key responsibilities include:Providing first-line and complex HR advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, conduct, and absence managementEnsuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures, promoting fairness and best practiceBuilding strong working relationships with managers and stakeholders at all levelsSupporting recruitment and selection processes, advising managers to ensure compliance with required standardsMaintaining accurate HR records and confidently using HR data and systemsContributing to organisational change and change management activitySupporting safeguarding requirements, including DBS processes (desirable)Assisting with HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and employee experienceAbout YouYou will be an experienced HR professional who is confident, pragmatic, and comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have:Able to start assignment within 1-2 weeksCIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards)Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceProven experience managing complex employee relations caseworkConfidence working in a hybrid environment with regular on-site presenceWhat Next?If you are available at short notice and feel this role matches your experience, please apply with your most recent CV outlining all relevant experience.
