Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Structures (Sheet Metal) Technicians are an integral part of our Maintenance team. Their experience, practical knowledge, creativity and problem-solving skills will ensure that the aircraft structure and structural systems are maintained in an airworthy and dispatch ready status at all times.
The primary duties include carrying out structural inspections, repairs, modifications, corrosion control and fabrication of aircraft sheet metal components, while supporting the operational status of Top Aces’ fleet of aircraft.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician Structures (Sheet Metal) has a strong understanding of aircraft structures, be detail-oriented, and able to handle the physical demands of the job.
Functional Responsibilities in accordance with Top Aces Maintenance Policy Manual:
Ensure the work accomplished on any aircraft or component is performed is performed in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards and OEM instructions, Company Policies and Procedures Regulated safety standards
Primary responsibilities of the Avionics Mission Systems Technician are:
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Experience and Qualifications
Canadian aircraft structures / sheet metal training or equivalent military qualification; European counterpart: EASA Part-66 B1.1 mechanical category with structures experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical work associated with the duties of Aircraft Maintenance Technician Structures (Sheet Metal)
Working Conditions
From time-to-time local travel may be required for the position
