<h2><strong><span>Landscape Operative (Groundworker) 6426</span></strong></h2> <p><strong>Location:</strong><br /> Stroud, Gloucestershire</p> <p><strong>Hours:</strong><br /> Monday to Thursday: 7:00am &ndash; 4:00pm<br /> Friday: 7:00am &ndash; 1:00pm<br /> (Extended hours may be required depending on site location)</p> <p><strong>Salary:</strong><br /> &pound;15.00 per hour (higher rates considered for candidates with arborist experience and qualifications)</p> <hr /> <h3> <strong>Key Responsibilities of a Landscape Operative:</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance</p> </li> <li> <p>Weed control using appropriate equipment and techniques</p> </li> <li> <p>Hedge cutting and pruning</p> </li> <li> <p>Tree work and general arboriculture duties (if qualified)</p> </li> <li> <p>Fencing installation and repairs</p> </li> <li> <p>Tree and shrub planting</p> </li> <li> <p>Soft landscaping and turfing projects</p> </li> <li> <p>Driving to and from sites across a wide geographical area, including North Dorset and the West Midlands</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensuring vehicles are returned to the operational depot in Stroud at the end of each day while on agency placement</p> </li> </ul> <hr /> <h3> <strong>Key Skills of a Landscape Operative:</strong></h3> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a similar outdoor manual role</p> </li> <li> <p>Full UK driving licence (essential)</p> </li> <li> <p>Over 18 years of age (due to vehicle insurance restrictions)</p> </li> <li> <p>Reliable, hardworking, and able to work extended hours when required</p> </li> <li> <p>Arborist qualifications or experience (desirable &mdash; higher rates considered)</p> </li> <li> <p>Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards outdoor, physical work in all weathers</p> </li> </ul> <hr /> <p> <strong>To apply for this role, please email your CV to zee.powell@first-base.co.uk or call Zee Powell on 01453 755330.</strong><br /> &nbsp;</p> <h3>Refer a Friend:</h3> <p>Know someone perfect for this job?
