<p>We are seeking a talented <strong>Site Reliability Engineer</strong> to assist with cloud-based applications in a highly monitored environment. This temporary position necessitates solid AWS cloud architecture skills, hands-on CloudWatch familiarity, and the capacity to uphold extremely dependable production systems.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br />• Establish and ameliorate monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and automation for expansive application settings<br />• Maintain production, evaluation, and development structures to ensure dependable, accessible, and high-functioning applications<br />• Develop and manage visibility solutions using AWS services and linked monitoring mechanisms<br />• Mechanize continual operational chores through scripting, infrastructure as code, or cloud-specific tools<br />• Monitor performance, dependability, capacity, and operational health metrics over application amenities<br />• Collaborate with development and operations squads to enhance deployment methodologies, incident reaction, durability, and system efficiency</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong><br />• Proof of U.S. citizenship is a necessity owing to the governed setting and consumer contract prerequisites<br />• Perfectly situated in the Central or Eastern time zone<br />• Profound AWS cloud composition familiarity, involving CloudWatch<br />• Proficiency with AWS amenities such as CloudTrail, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, PostgreSQL, S3, API Gateway, ELB, OpenSearch, Grafana, X-Ray, SQS, Canaries, or AWS FIS<br />• Background in GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, CDK, Grafana, OpenSearch, or analogous utilities<br />• Skilled in programming or scripting with Python, TypeScript, Node.js, .NET, Java, or related dialects<br />• Awareness of infrastructure as code, monitoring as code, deployment strategies, calamity recuperation, durability, ITIL, or chaos engineering<br />• Hold a bachelor’s degree and substantial correlated expertise in cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering<br />• AWS certifications are preferable</p>
