EYFS Teacher Peterborough

About the role:

Justteachers are looking for an EYFS Teacher to join a Primary School in Peterborough from September 2026, this role is fulltime and will be on a long term supply basis. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm, stimulating environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

The school values child‑centred practice, strong relationships, and a play‑based approach that helps every child thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high‑quality EYFS provision, plan and teach engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS Framework.
• Support early development, foster children’s communication, social, emotional, and physical skills through purposeful play.
• Create an inspiring environment, maintain a rich indoor and outdoor learning space that encourages exploration and independence.
• Observe and assess progress, use observations to track development, identify next steps, and inform planning.

Pre-requisites:

• QTS and experience within EYFS
• Two education or school based references
• A passion for early childhood education
• Creativity, warmth, and strong communication skills
• A commitment to inclusive practice and child‑centred learning
