School Caretaker / Cleaner - Primary School - Milton Keynes

Simply Education are working with a friendly and welcoming primary school who are seeking a dedicated Caretaker / Cleaner to help maintain a safe, clean, and well-presented environment for pupils and staff.

The role will involve:
* Carrying out general cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the school
* Supporting with basic site maintenance and upkeep
* Opening and/or locking the school site where required
* Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
* Assisting with setting up rooms for school activities or events

Requirements:
* Previous cleaning or caretaking experience is desirable but not essential
* A strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* A proactive and reliable approach
* Understanding of health and safety procedures
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
* An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
