Electrical Engineer – North London

Location: North London

Pay: £21.16 per hour PAYE

Hours: Full-time (approx. 40 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary

Start Date: 4 May 2026

End Date: 5 June 2026

A short-term opportunity is available for an Electrical Engineer to support maintenance operations within a healthcare and academic environment in North London. This is a hands-on role combining both electrical and basic plumbing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems

Respond to reactive maintenance issues across site

Undertake basic plumbing maintenance alongside electrical tasks

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities

Requirements:

Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

Previous experience in a commercial, healthcare, or facilities environment

Ability to carry out both electrical and basic plumbing works

Strong fault-finding skills

Reliable and able to work independently

Right to Work in the UK

Desirable:

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Experience working in healthcare or critical environments
