About the Role

<p class="MsoNormal">Seeking a Sustainable Design Engineer to join our team in Grove City, Ohio. The ideal candidate will oversee the Environmental Management System to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities include evaluating and recommending environmental practices to enhance efficiency and providing direction for the company’s environmental management system.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Ensure adherence to Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations and permits.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Foster positive relationships with Ohio EPA and Federal EPA.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Monitor and report internal Greenhouse Gas emissions.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Support initiatives for reducing Greenhouse Gas emissions.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Stay up-to-date on environmental requirement changes from regulatory agencies.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Advise management on compliance matters and changes.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Conduct internal audits for compliance monitoring.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Assist in facility recycling efforts and reporting.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Prepare environmental reports and permit applications for regulatory agencies.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Identify and mitigate potential environmental risks.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Manage hazardous waste disposal and Carbon Neutrality projects.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Create pollution control programs and update SPCC plans as necessary.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Perform field inspections and oversee HAZCOM/SDS Program.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Requirements:</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Proficiency in air, water, and land permitting regulations.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph">· Experience with EHS management systems, including ISO 14001.</p>
