<p><strong> Nature Recovery Officer</strong></p>

<p>Be part of one of London’s most ambitious rewilding programmes and help deliver nature recovery at scale.</p>
<p>We’re looking for a <strong>Nature Recovery Officer</strong> to join a forward-thinking team, playing a key role in delivering major environmental initiatives across the borough.</p>
<p><em> The role</em></p>
<p>You’ll work at the intersection of ecology, planning and programme delivery, supporting large-scale nature recovery programmes and embedding biodiversity into development.</p>
<p>Key responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting delivery of large-scale nature recovery projects</li>
<li>Reviewing planning applications and ensuring Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) requirements</li>
<li>Providing clear ecological advice based on technical information</li>
<li>Contributing to habitat management and long-term environmental outcomes</li>
<li>Using GIS and spatial data to inform decisions</li>
<li>Working with partners including Natural England, consultants and landowners</li>
</ul>
<p><em> About you</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Background in ecology, environmental management, planning or similar</li>
<li>Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills</li>
<li>Ability to interpret technical data and provide practical advice</li>
<li>Experience supporting projects or coordinating programmes</li>
</ul>
<p><em> Location: Enfield (hybrid working available)</em></p>
