Job Title: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 (plus annual bonus)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Area: Edinburgh, Glasgow and surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:
- Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
- Managing your own workload and organising your daily schedule effectively
- Completing service reports, job sheets and compliance documentation accurately
- Liaising with the parts department to source and fit the correct components
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer or similar
- Candidates from a vehicle technician background may be considered
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and fault finding
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Experience with electrics and hydraulics
- LOLER knowledge (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
Package & Benefits:
- Basic Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 (depending on experience)
- Overtime: Paid at 1.5x (availability dependant on depot demand)
