Support Worker
Location: Bristol
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £14.16 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are working with a well-established not-for-profit organisation in Bristol that is committed to making a real difference within the community. This is a hands-on role supporting vulnerable individuals in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The position will start on a temporary basis, with a permanent opportunity available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals to achieve long-term goals using a person-centred approach
- Help clients overcome barriers related to homelessness and progress towards independent living
- Provide tailored support to help maintain recovery from homelessness
- Work a 9-week rota covering early and late shifts, including three weekends per cycle
- Maintain accurate records and client documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies
- Manage priorities effectively in a busy environment
Skills & Experience
- Understanding of the needs of homeless and vulnerable individuals
- Experience working in a psychologically informed way
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to take initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Office
- Resilient, adaptable, and solution-focused
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
