Job Title: Fire Alarm & Intruder Alarm Engineer
Location: Brighton
Length: Long-term rolling contract
Rate: £220 per day + expense package
Are you a Fire Alarm & Intruder Alarm Engineer based in Brighton looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm & Intruder Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and remedial works on fire alarm and intruder alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites in the Brighton area. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm and intruder alarm systems in line with relevant standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on fire alarm and intruder alarm systems, completing remedial works as required.
* Produce accurate service reports and site documentation following each visit.
* Liaise with site contacts and clients professionally to ensure minimal disruption during works.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with BS 5839, BS EN 50131, and applicable industry standards.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and intruder alarm systems.
* Proven experience with a range of fire alarm panels from manufacturers such as Advanced, Hochiki, Morley, or Kentec.
* Experience with intruder alarm systems and knowledge of graded installation requirements.
* Full UK driving licence, as this is a field-based role.
* FIA Fire Detection & Alarm Systems qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
