Secondary Teacher – Sheffield Employer: Teaching Personnel Contract: Full time / Supply Start Date: ASAP / Flexible Salary: £140 - £240 per day
Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and committed teachers to work across partner secondary schools in Sheffield. We welcome applicants from all subject specialisms who are passionate about supporting students and delivering high-quality education. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers seeking flexible supply work, long-term placements, or permanent roles in supportive school environments.
About the Role As a Secondary Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential Key Stage 5 teaching.
Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support achievement.
Work collaboratively with departments and school staff.
Fulfil professional duties, including safeguarding responsibilities.
About You We are looking for a Secondary Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.
Is adaptable, organised, and confident in different school environments.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Holds, or is willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
