Art Teacher Nelson

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking an Art Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Nelson area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in March 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach KS3/KS4 art across a range of mediums
• Plan creative projects that develop skills and expression
• Assess coursework and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe studio environment for all pupils

Pre-requisites:

• Strong portfolio of creative work
• QTS status or equivalent
• Knowledge of mediums such as paint clay and digital
• Curriculum planning for KS3 and KS4
