Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Specialist with expertise in materials characterization to join a dynamic team supporting global pharmaceutical projects. This role focuses on hands-on laboratory work involving the identification and analysis of unknown materials and particles, assisting in root cause investigations, and supporting scientific research activities within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
-Conduct hands-on analytical testing using techniques such as FTIR, optical microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, SEM-EDX, and X-ray inspection.
-Characterize unknown particles and materials, especially extraneous matter and packaging components.
-Support global investigations into material defects, foreign particles, and other anomalies.
-Collaborate on multiple international projects, executing experiments independently and supporting experimental design.
-Prepare detailed technical reports documenting investigation findings, clearly presenting scientific conclusions in English.
-Assist in root cause analysis related to drug products, excipients, and packaging materials.
-Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper documentation of all activities.

Requirements
-Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent in a scientific or technical discipline such as Materials Science, Analytical Chemistry, or Chemical Sciences.
-Hands-on experience with techniques like FTIR, optical microscopy, Raman, SEM-EDX, and X-ray inspection.
-Strong analytical skills with experience identifying unknown particles, foreign materials, or material defects.
-Proven ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and handle multiple global projects simultaneously.
-Excellent written communication skills in English for report writing and documentation.
-Good teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
