DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Task

• Automate and maintain the software build and delivery process
• Maintain application configuration for the technology stack (mostly Spring, JavaEE)
• You will automate and optimize processes, using tools like Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Artifactory, etc.
• Excellent understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD tools, Build-Pipelines
• Work closely with the developers to maintain the development infrastructure components
• Participate in projects and release activities
• Working in the agile team using methods like Scrum / DevOps to ensure End-to-End Responsibility for the Service
• Coordinate with internal and external teams responsible for infrastructure, release management and database administration

Requirements

• Technical background in IT and professional experience as DevOps engineer, system engineer or software developer
• Experience with enterprise-wide deployments using Linux, Docker, Git, Build-Pipelines and CI/CD Tooling (Jenkins, Gradle, etc), Containerization (Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of shell scripting, Java tech stack and basic DB administration
• Team player mentality and good communication skills
• Professional commitment to quality, detail-oriented and strong problem-solving skills
• Understanding architecture and system thinking
• Experience with backend technologies (Java or Kotlin)
• Business fluent in English, additional German skills are a plus
