About the Role
FLT Counterbalance Driver We are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy manufacturing site. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term, ongoing work in a supportive and friendly environment.<br><br><strong>Key Requirements:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)<br><br></li><ul><li>Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred<br><br></li><li>Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious<br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>Duties May Include:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Operating FLT Counterbalance trucks safely in line with site procedures.<br><br></li><ul><li>Loading and unloading deliveries, including raw materials and finished goods.<br><br></li><li>Transporting materials between warehouse, storage areas, and production lines.<br><br></li><li>Ensuring production lines are consistently stocked to avoid downtime.<br><br></li><li>Stacking and storing pallets in designated locations, including racking systems.<br><br></li><li>Carrying out daily FLT checks and reporting any defects.<br><br></li><li>Assisting with goods-in and goods-out processes, including checking deliveries against paperwork.<br><br></li><li>Using scanners or basic systems to track stock movements (where applicable).<br><br></li><li>Supporting stock control, including pallet counts and location checks.<br><br></li><li>Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.<br><br></li><li>Working to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.<br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>Hours of Work (Rotating Double Days):</strong><br><br><ul><li><strong>Earlies:</strong> Monday to Thursday: 5:40am to 1:50pm and Friday: 5:40am to 11:30am<br><br></li><ul><li><strong>Lates:</strong> Monday to Thursday: 1:40pm to 9:50pm and Friday: 11:20am to 5:10pm<br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>Pay Rates:</strong><br><br><ul><li>£12.71 per hour (first 12 weeks)<br><br></li><ul><li>Increasing to £14.73 per hour after 12 weeks<br><br></li></ul></ul><strong>What's on Offer:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Ongoing, long-term opportunity<br><br></li><ul><li>Weekly pay<br><br></li><li>Friendly and supportive working environment<br><br></li></ul></ul>If you have a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and are looking for stable, long-term work, we'd love to hear from you.
