Senior Data Engineer

We are now looking for a Senior Data Engineer to work within a multi-functional delivery team, responsible for the delivery of the robust data services and designs. Technical Responsibilities Deliver data enhancements using existing tools and team capabilities. Contribute to building a high-quality data engineering capability. Collaborate with data and BI teams to improve data access and usability. Develop and maintain data pipelines and related artefacts. Implement solutions for internal and external data movement. Work with stakeholders to understand user needs and inform design decisions. Deliver data engineering solutions across projects using approved technologies. Support organisational data strategy aligned with business goals. Development & Delivery Maintain and develop technical skills, staying current with industry trends. Ensure adherence to governance, testing, and build processes. Support and guide junior team members where required. Technical Skills Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, and related tools. Ability to design, build, test, and document code or scripts. Experience preparing, cleansing, and formatting data. Understanding of scalable and sustainable data solutions. Experience Contributed to delivery of technical solutions within large projects. Familiar with Agile delivery approaches (e.g. Scrum). Understanding of DevOps practices. Experience using Azure DevOps.
