Job purpose and Impact As Legal Counsel EMEA, you will provide hands-on legal support across our EMEA organization. In this role, you will work closely with teams such as Sales, Operations, Finance and HR, ensuring legal considerations are integrated into business decisions while enabling the business to move forward with confidence. You will report to the Senior Legal Counsel EAAA and support a broad range of legal activities including commercial contracting, corporate governance, compliance and data privacy matters. Your work will help the business operate effectively while identifying and managing potential legal risks. Main responsibilities Provide legal support and guidance to Sales and Operations teams in commercial transactions Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including distributor agreements, NDAs and purchase agreements Identify legal risks and escalate them through the appropriate channels Manage corporate housekeeping activities for EMEA entities, including legal documentation and corporate resolutions Support compliance initiatives within the organization Assist with GDPR-related matters, including privacy documentation and initial risk assessments Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities when required Coordinate with external legal counsel where necessary Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve legal processes, templates and documentation. You are pragmatic, structured and comfortable operating in an international environment with stakeholders across different functions. To be successful in this role, you bring: Law degree from a recognized European university 2–5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts Fluency in English (Dutch language skills are considered a strong advantage) Experience working in a multinational or international environment You live within approximately 50 km of Scherpenzeel and are able to work on-site at least 60% of the time How to apply Upload your cv and cover letter through pressing the ‘apply’ button!
