Technical Architect UK Remote - Occasional travel to Reading or Glasgow Salary up to £95,000 SC Clearance eligibility required We’re looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join our Cloud Engineering and Platforms practice. This hands-on leadership role involves designing and building secure, automated, and scalable cloud platforms, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and a growing multi-cloud footprint across AWS and GCP. This is an ideal opportunity for a pragmatic architect with strong engineering depth and a clear architectural mindset—someone who can articulate what excellence looks like and bring it to life through modern DevOps, automation, and infrastructure-as-code patterns. Key Responsibilities Translate business needs into secure, scalable architectures using WellArchitected Frameworks Lead platform architecture and embed NFRs Build automated cloud platforms using IaC Develop CI/CD pipelines and reusable modules, guardrails, and policyascode to support secure, consistent cloud adoption. Apply endtoend security across identity, networking, encryption, secrets, MFA, and zerotrust. Implement automated security scanning (SAST/DAST), dependency checks, and secure pipeline patterns, aligning platforms with organisational and regulatory standards. Work across the full project lifecycle. About You: Experienced in designing and building secure cloud solutions (ideally Azure, with awareness of AWS or GCP) and cloudready, distributed, scalable architectures Skilled at leading technical discussions and articulating architectural decisions, Advanced knowledge of IaC automation (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) with strong DevOps skills across CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern development practices Knowledgeable in cost analysis, optimisation, ROI modelling Knowledge and Experience of the following would be advantageous: Consulting or client facing project leadership experience Experience with .NET of Python Familiar with cloud-native security tooling If you are looking to join a leading consultancy specialising in Digital, Security and AI solutions then this is the role for you.
