Head Chef – Worthing – Independent Restaurant

We are working with a family owned restraurant group, who are looking for a passionate and ambitious Head Chef to lead the kitchen in their well-established, Italian restaurant in the heart of Worthing.

This is more than just another Head Chef role. It’s an opportunity to become part of a close-knit team, influence the direction of their menu, and put your own stamp on a restaurant that has built its reputation on authentic Tuscan inspired hospitality and consistently great food.

What you’ll be doing:

Working alongside an experienced and loyal kitchen team of 4 Chefs and 2 kitchen assistants, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and service.

During quieter services, you’ll be comfortable running the kitchen independently with the support of a Kitchen Assistance, so confidence, organisation and strong leadership are essential.

Where this role really stands out is the weekly specials menu – Every week you’ll have the opportunity to create seasonal dishes, showcase your creativity and introduce exciting new flavours, all while staying true to their Italian roots and the identity of the restaurant.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience as a Senior Sous Chef ready to step into their first Head Chef role, or is already an experienced Head Chef looking for a fresh challenge.
