BUSINESS LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY (Mid-Level)

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a talented mid-senior level Associate Attorney to join their Business Litigation Practice in Washington DC. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level litigator to work on complex, high-exposure trial matters with a collaborative and dynamic litigation team.
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, in good standing.
Law Review or Clerkship experience is a plus.
4+ years of substantive commercial, business litigation experience.
Experience with federal court litigation is also a plus.
Demonstrated stand-up experience, including taking and defending depositions and courtroom advocacy
Proven legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently
Highly motivated and driven, with a strong commitment to exceptional client service and effective teamwork
Key Responsibilities
Manage and assist with high-stakes business litigation matters across industries
Conduct discovery, including taking and defending depositions
Draft and argue motions and briefs in state and federal courts
Participate in trial preparation, hearings, and courtroom proceedings
Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation teams to develop case strategies
Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and internal teams

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $195,000-$200,000, as determined by experience and market factors
Eligibility for profit-sharing and a discretionary bonus
