SEND Support Assistant – Autism / ADHD | Portsmouth (Flexible School Work) £89 – £93 per day We are currently recruiting for SEND Support Assistants to work in specialist and mainstream school settings across Portsmouth. Opportunities are available on both a flexible (bank) and longer-term basis. These positions have arisen due to increased demand for support for pupils with Autism, ADHD and associated needs. Key responsibilities: Support pupils with SEND to access learning Assist with behaviour management and routines Provide 1:1 and small group support Work closely with teachers and support staff The ideal candidate: Has experience in care, support work, education or youth work Is patient, adaptable and proactive Can build positive relationships with pupils Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Up-to-date safeguarding training Right to work in the UK
