An exciting opportunity for a qualified Mortgage & Protection Advisor to manage hot leads, provide tailored financial advice, and deliver mortgage and protection solutions within a busy estate agency environment.
We are recruiting on behalf of a successful estate agency and financial services group in Portsmouth who are seeking an experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisor. The role offers access to a strong flow of leads generated internally, supporting consistent business opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Advise clients on mortgage and protection products tailored to their needs
- Manage and convert warm leads generated by the sales team
- Conduct client consultations and fact-finding to assess financial requirements
- Recommend suitable mortgage and insurance solutions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Cross-sell protection products to maximise revenue opportunities
- Work towards and exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Keep up to date with market trends, products, and regulatory changes
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
- Previous experience as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor
- CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification
- Current Competent Advisor Status (CAS)
- Experience using mortgage-specific software
- Strong sales ability with experience in cross-selling products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and well-presented approach
- Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
