Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum pro rata

Hours: 15 per week. Please note, the Scottish Greens Parliamentary Group operates a four-day working week. This role constitutes 0.5 of a full time role. Working hours would be concentrated around the parliamentary business days of Tues - Thurs, with some flexibility.

Location: The Scottish Parliament, with occasional home working option.

Purpose of this role: To support the Scottish Greens Parliamentary Group MSPs and the central staff team who manage parliamentary business, provide research support, and deliver communications operations to the group. Reporting to the Group Co-ordination Manager, this job also involves working closely with the Chief of Staff and staff across MSP offices to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Group.

MSPs are employers in their own right. All MSP staff are required to be security vetted in line with HM Government (HMG) Personnel Security Controls and any employment cannot begin until security clearance has been granted. MSPs will also carry out other pre-employment checks including eligibility to work in the UK, and employment references where applicable.
