About the role:

Justteachers is recruiting a flexible and enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher for a full time, short-term position starting in September 2026 at a welcoming primary school in the Preston area.
The school is committed to providing a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of year groups, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring continuity of learning while class teachers are out of the classroom.

• Deliver planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as required
• Adapt quickly to different classes and learning environments
• Maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the school
• Use effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behaviour
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across multiple year groups
• Support pupil progress through engaging and inclusive teaching practices
• Follow school policies, procedures, and lesson plans effectively
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
• Confidence teaching across a range of primary age groups
• Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS clearance
