About the Role
Production Maintenance Technician Opportunity in Vass, NC .
Pay rate: $23.00 hour
Responsible for the installation, maintaining, and repairing of all manufacturing equipment and provide general building maintenance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning, oversight, and repair of all maintenance responsibilities including the plant facility and will report to the Production Manager.
• Analyzes operational problems and helps develop modifications in design to improve efficiency.
• Maintaining and continuously evaluating plant-wide Maintenance and custodial activities.
• Supporting internal customers (manufacturing engineering, production lines, utilities, etc.).
• Supporting technical items for all continuous improvement activities including manufacturing and the plant facility.
• Responsible for the verification of in-house test equipment and fixtures required in the Production processes.
• Responsible for the disposition of scrap metal generated from Production processes.
• Must obtain a North Carolina State certification for Facility sub-surface septic system.
• Oversee a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Responsible for making sure the facility is attended to, in cooperation with the Production Manager in case of an alarm drop, power failure, or sewer issue any time of day or night.
Qualifications:
• Maintenance and/or technical experience required
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings, blueprints and/or written specifications
• Able to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Highly motivated self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpersonal skills to work in a team environment to achieve goals and results.
• Good written, oral, and listening skills to clearly convey and receive technical information.
• High School Diploma
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Submit to background search and drug screen
