Global Auditing Manager
Location: Europe, North Africa, or UK (with international travel)

A leading global fresh produce business is seeking an experienced Global Auditing Manager on a consultancy basis. Working as a self-employed professional, you will play a key role in ensuring supplier compliance across international markets, upholding standards in food safety, ethical sourcing, and environmental practices The Role
As a Auditing Manager, you will:
Plan, coordinate, and conduct supplier audits worldwide (food safety, ethical, environmental).
Audit against leading retailer and company standards ( eg: Tesco , M&S, JS)
Manage live global audit schedules, ensuring timely reporting and corrective action planning.
Carry out ethical trade, human rights, and accommodation risk assessments.
Support suppliers in closing non-conformances and driving sustainable improvements.
Investigate issues and coordinate improvement plans with internal and external stakeholders.
Build strong working relationships with suppliers and technical teams globally.
About You
You will bring:
Proven experience in food safety and ethical compliance auditing (fresh produce or wider food supply chain).
Up-to-date knowledge of international and UK food safety, human rights, and ethical standards.
Detailed knowledge of Pre-TFS, TMPS, DMPS, FSQI, M&S Select Farm and JS GAP audits preferred
Strong analytical and organisational skills, able to conduct root cause analysis.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit reporting tools.
Fluency in Spanish, French, or Arabic would be a benefit
Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe, North Africa, and other sourcing regions.
Self-motivation and ability to operate effectively on a consultancy / freelance basis.
