You’ll distribute trending and breaking news to our global audience, ensuring our journalism hits the right platforms, at the right time, every time. </span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>What You’ll Do</strong> </span></p><ul><li><p><span>Spot trends, breaking news, and viral videos <strong>before anyone else</strong>. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Shape daily publishing schedules across trending news, original stories, and features. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with journalists and editors to <strong>maximize content performance</strong> using both editorial judgement and data insights. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Post and schedule content across social platforms, primarily Facebook and Twitter. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Craft attention-grabbing <strong>headlines, captions, and thumbnails</strong> that drive clicks and engagement. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Monitor performance using analytics tools and report insights to continually grow our audience. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Work across a <strong>seven-day rota</strong> and cover live events as they happen. </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><strong>Who You Are</strong> </span></p><ul><li><p><span>1+ years’ experience in a newsroom or digital publishing environment. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Knowledge of <strong>social media platforms</strong> and Google Search. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Passionate about UK and US news, pop culture, and viral trends. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Experience in writing for a <strong>digital audience</strong></span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Understanding of analytics tools such as <strong>Google Analytics, NewsWhip, Chartbeat, or Trends</strong>. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Collaborative, with experience working across editorial teams. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span>Understanding of <strong>journalism ethics and law</strong>. </span></p></li></ul><p><br><br><br><br><br></p><p><span><strong>At LADbible Group we've rolled out blended working which means the majority of departments across the business (including London, Manchester and International offices) work in the office 3 days per week.</strong> </span></p><p><span><strong>LADbible Group is an equal opportunities employer.
