(PK9268)</strong></p><p><strong>CUT AND CREASE OPERATOR - CARTONS</strong></p><p><strong>WEST MIDLANDS</strong></p><p><strong>SALARY £OPEN (Depending on Experience)</strong></p><p><strong>DAY SHIFT: Monday to Thursday - 7.30am - 4pm / Friday 7.30am - 12pm</strong></p><p>Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke printed packaging solutions, specialising in high-quality cardboard cartons. They are known for their strong technical expertise, customer-focused approach and ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions across a wide range of industries. Operating from a well-invested manufacturing facility, the business offers agile production capabilities, consistent product quality and support for both start-ups and established brands.</p><p>They are currently seeking an experienced Cut & Crease Operator to join their production team. The role involves operating sheet-fed cut and crease machinery (primarily Bobst, with Sanwa experience advantageous) producing high-quality packaging materials to specification.<br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Setting up cut and crease machines ahead of production runs</li><li>Performing quality control checks throughout the production process</li><li>Carrying out basic equipment maintenance and using hand tools as required</li><li>Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times</li><li>Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve production issues</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bobst experience is highly advantageous</li><li>Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset</li><li>Comfortable using hand tools for machine setup and routine maintenance</li><li>Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively</li><li>Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented production environment</li><li>Safety-conscious with a good understanding of workplace health and safety regulations</li><li>Willingness to learn and adapt in a continuously evolving production environment</li></ul>
