AM2PM Hull are looking for a Fabricator/welder capable of carrying out work on multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate is an experienced worker who can work independently and in a team environment, has excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and can follow through on daily tasks

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established business that is going through an exciting period of growth. The position will be offered on a temp to perm basis.

Shifts Available:

Day Shifts - 7am-4.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding tasks.
• Inspect and evaluate work to ensure it meets safety standards.
• Fabricate metal products and components.
• Welds according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Use hand tools such as calipers and micrometers to measure and inspect parts and products for defects, using a variety of measuring instruments.
• Cut metal with robotically operated cutting torches or lasers, using power hand tools such as grinders and drills.
• Grind, sand, or file surfaces of work pieces to prepare them for welding or machining

Requirements:

• MIG welding experience
• Fabrication experience
• Be able to work from drawings
• Be able to work in a fast moving environment
