Job Title: Secondary Supply Teacher – Choose Your Days
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £140–£220 per day (PAYE, no umbrella faff)
Contract: Flexible supply (day-to-day, short-term, long-term)

• Delivering pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if you fancy it)
• Keeping behaviour on track with calm, confident classroom management
• Building quick rapport with students and staff
• Leaving clear notes so everything runs smoothly after you

What we’re looking for:

• UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
• Ability to adapt quickly and hit the ground running
• A positive, approachable attitude

The important bits (DfE & safeguarding):

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS or recognised equivalent)
• Two professional references covering the last two years
• Full employment history with any gaps explained
• Compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
