Senior Product Owner: Marketplace

As Senior Product Owner: Marketplace, you will be responsible for one of their 3 Marketplaces. In this position you will have end-to-end responsibility. Together with the Head of Product you will co-create the strategy and you will draw up yearly and quarterly roadmaps and set the OKR’s and KPI’s. What’s unique about this position is that each Product Owner works with a “squad system”. Meaning not only do you have access to a team of developers, but you get to assemble your own “squad” of specialists outside of development to aid you in the development process. Think analysts, Sales and Service reps, designers and more. The focus for the development is not so much on maximizing revenue, but maximizing user satisfaction. Not only do they want to put their customers front and center, but they also want to mitigate Churn on their platforms as much as possible. In order to succeed it is of particular importance to have experience in the “discovery” phase of the development cycle. After all, how can you truly service your base if you don’t understand what they value? All this will be done in an environment with multiple co-Product Owners, IT/Tech leads, Marketing- , Sales- and Service specialists to help get the job done. As the new Senior Product Owner: Marketplace, we would need the following from you: Give or take 5+ years of experience as Product Owner/Manager Experience with end-to-end Product responsibility Thorough understanding of Product Discovery specifically Experience with maximizing user satisfaction Experience with CSAT, NPS or metrics serving a similar purpose A CV of max 2 pages, clearly displaying responsibilities and objective, measurable achievements within positions (Following the Star(e) method for example).
