Installation Engineer (Small Works) – Fire & Security Bristol & Surrounding Areas (Bath, Wiltshire, South Gloucestershire)£35,000 – £44,000 + Overtime (DOE) Van + Full Equipment Provided8-hour working day (excluding 30 mins travel each way) We are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join a growing Small Works Team delivering high-quality fire and security installations across high-end and List X sites. This is an excellent opportunity to join a developing department (currently 3 engineers, growing to 5+) with strong progression opportunities. The Role You will focus on: Small to medium installations Remedial works System additions and upgrades Working across Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems Fire Systems (Required) Advanced Kentec Morley Advantageous: Gent Protec Zettler Ziton Security Systems Intruder (Required): Texecom Galaxy CCTV: Hikvision Hanwha Dahua Networking / basic IT knowledge essential Door Access (Required): Paxton Salto Advantageous: Alcea Gallagher Sateon Requirements ✔ 5–10 years’ experience in Fire & Security installation✔ Full UK driving licence✔ DBS (or willingness to obtain)✔ Basic PC skills✔ Gent Engineer number (advantageous) Equipment Provided Company van iPhone & laptop Fire smoke/heat testing kit CCTV test monitor Multimeter & battery tester Commissioning software & leads Full tool kit (SDS, combi drill, impact driver) Full PPE Benefits £35–44k salary + overtime 25 days holiday + bank holidays Buy/Sell holiday scheme Structured training plan Access to innovative training facilities Work on prestigious, high-end sites Strong career progression within a growing team On-Call 1 in 6 rota (£180 standby Fri–Fri) Optional within Small Works team
