As Nursing Supervisor LPN/LVN, you will manage the LPN/LVN staff, including the administration of medications, performance of physicals, provision of treatments, and scheduling of medical appointments in collaboration with a Registered Nurse. <br></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Manage direct care staff including performance evaluations, scheduling, orientation, training, and ongoing support; resolve employee relations issues as needed; make decisions related to employment </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Coordinate the assignment of work of facility staff and evaluate performance </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Monitor the health and medical condition of individuals served to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Supervise the administration of proper medications according to established guidelines; maintain documentation on all medications given </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Provide treatment and/or health care procedures as specified in physicians’ orders and/or as determined by the team </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Make referrals for appropriate medical services and schedule appointments as needed; attend medical appointments with individuals served to promote positive outcomes </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Assist in the performance of quarterly and annual physicals; monitor weight gain or loss and update medical records regularly </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Maintain contact with families and keep them informed about the individual’s medical condition, nutritional needs, medications, etc. </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Complete the intake of medication deliveries from the pharmacy by receiving medications and comparing with physicians’ orders and medication administration records </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Monitor budgets for assigned areas; manage activities to ensure financial goals are met </span></span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;">Monitor budget variances and implement corrective action plans as needed </span></span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="white-space: normal;"><strong><em>Qualifications: <br></em></strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="white-space: normal;">Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school with current LPN and CPR licensure </span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;">Two years of related experience </span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;">Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license if required by state </span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;">Valid driver’s license in good standing </span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;">Strong leadership skills with ability to build rapport with others </span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;">Excellent communication and analytical skills </span></li> <li><span style="white-space: normal;">Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task </span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: small;"><span style="white-space: normal;"><strong><em>Why Join Us?
