Roles availableSupport pupils 1:1 or in small groups
Help children access learning in a way that works for them
Support communication, routines, and emotional regulation
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
Ideal if you’re patient, empathetic, and enjoy helping pupils thrive
Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs
Use calm, positive strategies to de-escalate situations
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Help pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn
Great for people with backgrounds in care, youth work, mental health, or mentoring
Teach pupils with a range of SEN needs across secondary age groups
Opportunities for supply, long-term, and part-time roles
Suitable for qualified teachers, ECTs, or those trained overseas

You don’t always need school experience. Experience with children or young people in care, support, or community settings is highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
