Swiss CNC Mill Machine Operator Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Job Type: Temp to Hire Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Pay Rate: $20 - $25 (depending on experience) Requirements: Resume / Interview / Background Check / Authorized to Work in the U.S. Job Summary Our client is seeking motivated individuals experienced in operating Swiss CNC Mills to produce high-precision components. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship while maintaining productivity across multiple machines in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Key Responsibilities Operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision parts to specification Set up tools, make offsets, and adjust machine settings as needed Read and interpret blueprints and tight tolerance specifications Measure and inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy Monitor multiple machines and organize production workflow efficiently Maintain consistent production while ensuring quality standards are met Keep work area clean and organized while following safety procedures Qualifications Previous experience operating Swiss CNC machinery Familiarity with G-code programming and machine setup Ability to set tools, make offsets, and inspect precision parts Strong understanding of tight tolerances and blueprint reading Ability to multitask and manage multiple machines Positive attitude and strong work ethic Benefits upon full-time hire include: Quarterly bonuses Paid health insurance Vacation & PTO 401(k)
