Hairdressing & Barbering Lecturer (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking an experienced Hairdressing & Barbering Lecturer to join a Further Education provider on a part-time basis, delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students pursuing careers within the hair and beauty industry.

Location: East Sussex

Hours: 10 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

You will deliver engaging and practical Hairdressing and Barbering sessions, supporting learners to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required to progress within the industry. You will also contribute to assessment, quality assurance and student achievement.

Requirements

• Relevant teaching experience within Hairdressing and/or Barbering

• Hold an IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) Award

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification

• Hold an assessor qualification in Barbering

• Strong industry knowledge and practical experience

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A commitment to supporting learner success and achievement

The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a desire to help students reach their full potential within a supportive Further Education environment.
