Welder / Fabricator

Location: Bolton

Salary: Â£30,000 to £34,000 (dependent on experience + overtime + benefits)

 

A well-established engineering manufacturer that designs and builds bespoke machinery for customers worldwide is looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join the team.

The business supplies specialist machinery to customers in over 30 countries and has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. With several large projects coming up and continued investment in its engineering capability, the company offers a stable environment and long-term opportunities.

 

The Role of the Welder / Fabricator

The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for producing high-quality stainless-steel fabrications in line with engineering drawings and project specifications.

 

Responsibilities of the Welder / Fabricator

• TIG welding and fabricating stainless steel frames to specification

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Cutting, shaping and assembling materials accurately

• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project requirements

• Using workshop machinery and fabrication tools safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

 

Requirements of the Welder / Fabricator

  • Time Served Welder / Fabricator
  • At least 2 year’s experience as a Welder Fabricator
  • Strong TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and hardworking with good timekeeping
  • Understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing or workshop environment
