Renewable Energy Program Coordinator
Contract | Estimated Duration: 9–12 Months
Location: Brandon, FL
Onsite Mon-Fri 8a - 5p, possible hybrid schedule after training.
Rate: $27.59/hr
Sirius Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Renewable Energy Program Coordinator to support a leading electric utility's renewable energy initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact between customers, solar installers, and internal energy management teams — helping process and manage renewable energy applications from start to finish.
What You'll Do:
Complete required technical training, including classroom and virtual study, covering the web-based Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform (EECP) and Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Jabber, and Teams
Analyze, approve, and process renewable energy applications through completion via the web-based Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform (EECP)
Process net meter applications across all customer rate classes, coordinating with the Renewable Program Manager for proper review of complex data and approval
Serve as a liaison between customers and the Energy Management Team for participation in renewable energy programs
Resolve questions and concerns from solar installers and customers via email regarding customer-owned solar and battery storage programs
Provide first-level resolution of customer email inquiries related to solar and battery storage programs
Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure meter set processes are completed within tariff-required timeframes
What You'll Need
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Above-average interpersonal, communication, and oral presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Ability to learn and navigate Microsoft Teams and Jabber for internal communication
Ability to learn and work within the Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform (EECP) upon completion of training
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of email-based customer communications
Preferred:
Prior experience working in the Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform (EECP)
A Day in the Life - 100% of your day will be spent in a combination of processing renewable energy program applications and responding to customer and solar installer inquiries — all conducted via email. You'll handle questions around customer-owned solar and battery storage programs while simultaneously managing application workflows through EECP, ensuring timely and accurate processing across all customer rate classes.
