Introduction

Formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College, The Bedford College Group is the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 18,000 students passing through our doors each year. Today, the Group is made up of a family of colleges across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, including Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College and Tresham College, among others. This is an exciting time for the Group as we embark on a bold new chapter to strengthen our impact across the region and improve the opportunities of those in our communities.

We are seeking a new Vice Principal to provide leadership and management across Shuttleworth College. The role will strengthen the Group’s specialist land-based offer and continue to develop provision across further education for young people and adults, as well as higher education. You will oversee provision, raise standards and help deliver a high-quality student experience. The successful candidate will have recent experience in a leadership role in the education, skills or training sector, along with significant experience of leading and managing land-based curriculum development, innovation and change within a further and/or higher education environment.
