MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN – DAY SHIFT

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Technician to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing essential industrial equipment to ensure continuous production at multiple chemical factories.

Responsibilities:
•    Perform maintenance, installation, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve machinery and process issues efficiently.
•    Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
•    Collaborate with experienced colleagues to share knowledge and solve problems.
•    Work in a team to ensure all plants operate smoothly 24/7, with some team members working in shifts.
•    Maintain a strong focus on safety, adhering to all safety instructions and protocols.
•    Contribute to a positive work environment while upholding safety standards, with ongoing training provided for working safely with hazardous materials.

Requirements:
•    Minimum mbo level 2-3 diploma in mechanical technology, automotive, or similar; willingness to attain level 4 under guidance.
•    Basic understanding of installation and safety regulations.
•    Preferably some experience as a service or automotive technician.
•    Good knowledge of MS Office; training on SAP provided during onboarding.
•    Full-time availability (40 hours per week).
•    Strong team player with a service-minded and problem-solving approach.
•    Eager to learn and improve skills.
•    Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
